Questions I have with PPC/INTEL mac

I've read up on intel/ppc macs but I'd like some answers from real users.

1. Can I compile to PPC (so game can run on old IMACs) from an intel MAC such as a MacMini?

2. Can an Intel MAC play PPC compiled games? and if so any slowdown or limitations? I hear they use emulation?

Im looking to eiher buy a macmini or a cheap IMAC off ebay so I can compile my games to MAC and importantly run on both intel and PCC macs.

Buy both. Get MacMini and used G4 400Mhz (128MB/16MB GFX is enough) to compile and test your game. I did that and don't regret.
