I will go first :-P
1. Using RoboSoft to submit downloads on populair download websites.
2. My own website... i plan to contact some portals.
3. My games where occasionaly included in magazines (the free or demo versions) i plan to go retail too.
4. I do not advertise really, i don't want to pay much money, and have no idea where to go.

5. My website has been "Under Construction" for the last 5 or so years - I simply don't have time to finish it. The most visitors are people downloading the Rocketboards Demo which I'm mirroring.

Nice, they should make it a sticky on the forums. safes a lot of questions maybe. dunno.
You need to target your advertising, for example: I posted news of my emulator on emulator news/links sites and next thing I know there where upto 500 visitors a day at my site
next add your url to google etc,
my program was free so I would not advertise on TV....
