R600: Finally DX10 Hardware from ATI

I've not started to read it yet - just found it.

yeah, I saw a good 26 page review on Guru3d.com. Said it wasn't as good as expected, but the price is very reasonable for a card that sits somewhere in between Nvidias top offerings. And the price didn't get skewed in the conversion to Euros either.

Apparently they're noisy and not as good value as a current 8800 GTS. This might change with a small price drop.

Personally I would stick with Nvidia - however there's many personal reasons (i.e. what I use it for) rather than fanboy devotion.

I saw it a couple of months ago, supposedly, its a bit of a monster!
