Downloaded this morning. I always check GiveAwayOfTheDay.com and Game.GiveAwayOfTheDay.com to see what's going, although I rarely download anything.

Downloading too...

haha you lot! so any good then?

Either this game is insanely difficult or I'm a halfwit. I'm betting on it being the latter, but that doesn't make things any easier...

Looks like something actors would be pretending to use in a Hollywood movie about firewalls or something :)

No, actors in Hollywood movies use giant screens and spinning cubes.

And also bashing on a keyboard faster to indicate an increased speed in hacking/increasing the power on a generic experiment/mainframe power supply etc.

this game is pretty easy the only thing I didn't like was that it seems to use linux command set but you only get like 4 or 5 commands to use.

Also in hollywood movies, they guess all passwords on about the 2nd try. Plus opening a file or checking email is animated (normally in 3D) and has some fancy little sound effect. Odd how Vista has eventually emulated this...

Seriously, whats with the sound effects? Even when they browse the web with IE or Firefox in movies and TV shows, there's also sound effects.

As long as they're not those overused Atari PacMan sfx that movies STILL USE when kids are playing games.

Heh, are the Atari Pacman sounds the only public domain sound effects in the entertainment business? Or are the sound people in the business that shallow minded? :p

I doubt they are public domain. Most film/TV people use library music/fx and pay royalties for it. I know a guy who use to make library sounds for the BBC, it was well paid. Maybe there's an opening for more computer game samples sold to movies :-)
