Wich Game type do you like?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Wich Game type do you like?

Hello,
I wan't to know anything.
Wich game Type do you like?

say 1. Online First Person Shooter
or say 2. Online Real Time Strategy

thank you.

Neither.

Personally, I like adventurous games.

[edit]And I hate online games.

Wich is wich?

I wan't to know anything.

Anything, eh? Ok. "Wo ai ni" is Mandarin (the official dialect of the Chinese mainland) for "I love you".

Haven't you posted this topic before? I'm getting a strong feeling of deja vu.

Ha, I've heard that phrase a few times in my many of hundreds of Kung Fu DVDs. Also Boa or something which means sorry. And Lei Lei which means come on.

Guess what...Point&Click Adventures :O)

Retrostuff if there is time.

What i don't play are handy and online games...both are rubbish in my opinion.

i like online FPS. coop or team vs team. i don't like the other stuff like puzzles, adventures, sci-fi, medieval, rpg, 2d games etc. thats why i create my own fps ;)

FPS - but they are all aggravating me at the moment.

I love Match 3 games. You can't beat the feeling of clicking 3 colours next to one another. Such a rush.

I want a game that involves the player to the point that it's like reading a good book; you just can't put it down.

That's what I'm trying to do with the term "Unique Puzzle Adventure".

Classic 2d platformers and arcade shooters.

Retro all the way baby...

Hello.

Larn.

Goodbye.

larn

not again! Remake it with my framework then!

Um, so I like lots of game types:

- FPS (not played many recently though)
- Point n click adventure games
- Quite a few casual games
- Retro platform action
- Scrolling Shoot 'em ups
- Tie Fighter and the various 3D flying star wars games.
- Scrolling Beat 'em ups (prefer to static ones)
- 3rd person games like Tomb Raider (if they are good)
- A few RTS and turn-based like Xcom, C&C.
- gosh I nearly missed out one of my favourites: RPG games! Both 3D and Baldur's gate style.

Game Types I dislike:

- pretty much all sport and racing games except for a few like Golf, SSX Tricky, Burnout, GT3 etc.

What, you don't like a hot hour with Decathlon, baby?! :O)

If I was darktremor, I would edit my first post to include a really suspicious third option, such as "Online Animal Necrophilia".

You'd look pretty silly then, wouldn't you, skn3[ac]?

or say 3. Alan Titchmarsh Strip Poker Online

Why did you edit that out, DarkTremor?

hahahahahaha *muffles his laughter at work shhhhhhh*

I like RPG's of the Oblivion, Gothic, KOTOR, Jade Empire type

RTS like Medieval 2, Company of Heroes

FPS like Riddick, Far Cry, FEAR

TPS stealth like Splinter cell, Thief

Adventure like Broken Sword, Farenheight

Racing like PGR, Forza

I don't care for online features. A LAN mode with bots is ok, but I also don't care much for that either. Single player is the most important for me.

I love FPS with LOTS of Zombies. And atmosphere. And, yes, a story, if possible (but most of them don't have one that is worth mentioning). So the atmosphere of the game is even more important than the story or the zombies. ;-)

By the way, I HATE it when they put "jump & run" parts in an FPS game. You know, like jumping over boxes that swim in a lava lake or shit like that. When I want to play that kind of thing, then I play Midnight Mansion, where it belongs.

erm, the one that will blow my socks off! Otherwise, its the same old same!

Dabz

I want to create my game.
I just wan't to know what the gamers like.

I think that it is best to create something that you like.

However, if you want to know what is popular then you could take a look at sales charts.

Haven't you posted this topic before?

Ummm... darktremor accidentally posted in the blitz showcase?

Ummm... darktremor accidentally posted in the blitz showcase?

Action RPG/FPS

1. without the Online element ;P

Stuff like Diablo, War/Starcraft, classic RPG's like YS, Godgames (SimCity, Tycoon, Ceasar).

FPS online

I don't really play anything online and find SP easier to get involved withthe game.

I like my MMOTRPFPRTS games.

Bah, I'm a GTA/Saints Row type of guy myself.

Of course, my second favorite type of game would have to be puzzle games that are either on the DS or X360, like Puzzle Quest, Hexic, Bejeweled, Tetris, etc... Those types of games seem to turn me on all right.

I do love FPS games, but not the online variety, sorry...

Fighting games. Wow. The last fighting game I played was Super Smash Bros. Melee! Damned. If you want to find a niche market - there you have it.

I like horror games. Things that scare me. Like this, for instance:

Monsters in closets that jump out? Sure thing, I'll go for that. Cthulhu? I'm on it.

Now I feel like playing Call of Cthulhu...

Wow that game has amazing graphics, it looks just like real life.

RACING GAMES...

Forza MotorSports 2 Hits the XBox 360 this month, I can't wait!!!

Still like that Saints Row 2 comes out almost a year after GTA IV, gives me time to toggle off between the two franchises.

Space sims
RTS
Platformers
FPS
Third Person Shooters
Some RPG's
Third person adventures (a la Legend of Zelda)
Air combat Games (Crimson skies)
Descent-like games
