"good" free file space

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/"good" free file space

Hi all, im back after a break, i really mean that to,
I smashed the end off my radius bone.

now im ready to take over the world with B-MAX

Tell me please: where can I sign up for "good" free file space on the net.

I try "the box" thing and it sucked so much I couldnt believe it, it wont allow me to upload, the browser just says error on page at bottom?

I tryed another site and same thing, lets you sign up, but when you go to upload, browser locks, they just suck.

Anyone know of a free storage space that actually works?

my stand alone executable file is around 500K when zipped.

Or even better can anyone with a wiz-bang blitz site host it for me? I would need to do updates.

its my emulator in blitz-gui, it emulates, Arcadia2001, Interton VC-4000, Elektor TV Games computer, Dick Smith VZ-300 so far and growing.

It features its very own ,(and very simple basic like compiler with examples), front end, CLI, and very accurate sound, Save state, complex debugger, assembler, drag&drop, highlited syntax disassembler, sprite tool, etc, etc, etc to much to list

its over 20,000 lines of source code and took me over a year to write, its completely orginal and not nicked from MESS or MAME like my competitor (who funny enough never gives credit to who accually wrote it, making it look like he wrote it, more like he just downloaded the source code from MESS and banged it through a free C++ compiler! after only removing the copyright notice from the top of the source code, I THINK SHAME ON HIM!!!!)

At least I can create a blank document and type in my code without looking at anyone elses at all, this is what makes me a real "software author"

Haven't tried it myself, but giving their track record I'd expect this one to be pretty decent:

http://pages.google.com

No idea how much space they offer, though.

cool im looking for around 500-K bytes,

I used to have a domain for my emulator, but im starting a web-developers course and need to do something commerical.

I dont want to pay to have a free program on the net.

plus maybe a screen shot, I would like to submit it to the blitz home page again to get feed-back, im a perfectionist and my program must be perfect as perfect can get.

just signed up for gmail and got free page, cool

cool=no adds!!!!!!

still havent figured how to upload a file?

Heh, nice. I just created an experimental page here

When you log into googlepages, on the far right you should see an 'uploaded stuff' 'box'. Here you can upload your files.

Im loving it, you guys are a great knowledge base,

I got a gmail account, made a page, uploaded file, no probs, good webpage editor etc.

it was fast and easy, best of all no ads

i can offer space without ads for projects,
i have many servers running and most servers are nearly unused..

but i can only do that in a limited amount, if you are interested send mail to tim@...

I didn't know about the google webpages. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll be making myself a new website since my last one just got destroyed by some #$%@ who was supposed to be my friend :(
