Are you receiving my e-mails? Sent one last week and one earlier today, no reply to either?

I replied to the one you sent today about 10 minutes ago, but I didn't get one last week. If there was anything in that email that was not in today's email, please resend.

Got your reply, ta!

The original one was just asking for a price in GBP for your submission service, given that USD is worth less than Netto own-brand bog paper at the moment.

I got your reply (and sent another just now), so its no biggie at the moment. I can sort payment next week. :)

Oh ok, don't worry about that. The US price is fine.

I always say this but I recommend the service. It's around £15 and it's cool. If your game is good you should make it back in sales plus you'll get increased traffic so make sure you have a newsletter page and, if you are so inclined, adsense as that'll pay for the submission alone. Oh and when you've got several games like I have, you get cross-selling ... yay!

I have 14 games on my site at the moment, but only one of them is mine - the rest are affiliates. One of them is yours actually!

Should have another one of my own up there by the end of the year.

ah good more sales for me ;-)

As a matter of interest, I see your site is all PHP. Does it pull the data from a MySQL database and use a template for each game page? That's what I ought to do but my site just uses HTML (wrapped in PHP) and, gasp, I copy and paste it and modify it. It's pretty lame in that respect.

Oh and what's gamecentresolution.com where your downloads are coming from?

@Gfk

Any chance I can give you an email in the not so distant future, well, until I manage to hire an artist to turn my placeholders into something a little more 'respectful' :)

@Gabriel
Do you take a cheque for the submitting service, I'm in the UK?

Thanks chaps

Hi Dabz,

Not directly, it would be too much trouble for a small fee. However, I can ( and do ) set up a Plimus item for people to pay that way. I believe you can pay Plimus with debit card, credit card, wire transfer, phone, fax, mail, cash, check, pretty much anything. So if Plimus accepts it, then yes.

Thanks Gabriel, that should be fine! :)

I dont really like using my card online, well, I dont really like using my card at all since some total git nicked my details and took money from me (which was refunded by the way, but its the principal)

I tend to use cheque or cash now, postal orders at a push, but they only open when I'm at work, and most days, I just work through.

Will keep it in mind! ;)

gamecentersolution.com is Reflexive's new affiliate scheme.

They provide screenshots, box shots, download and purchase links, and product information. You can also include branding images, which appear on the order page, and also in the game demo downloads which is pretty nice. All you do is upload the images, and the rest happens automatically.

My site is all PHP and SQL. I was using PHP arrays to store game data at first, but its much better this way since SQL queries happen in a fraction of a second anyway, plus I can change the display order, or only show products within a certain price range, or release date, or whatever.

My site is fully functional, but development is an ongoing process. I'll continue to add and change things. :)

GfK: thanks, yeah I thought it was reflexive yet when typed it in it came up with a generic holding page but I realise now that I must have typed in centre with the Englsh spelling.
