IE, Firefox, or Opera? I personally use Firefox because my wife got a nasty virtus (haha!) using IE. That didn't stop her from changing back to IE though after a few weeks because she was used to it.

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/The best browser? I used to have a browser called Eye Brows which was the best browser in the world based purely on it's name. But that was many many pre PC moons ago...
Personally I like Firefox... But to be honest they're all much of a muchness now, they all do tabbed browsing and all the funky middle click stuff.
Opera is probably the purest though, firefox ironically has become an unholy lump of bloat that takes an age to open by comparison.

I like IE7, its similar to firefox but when you type shortcuts to local folders in the address bar, you get standard explorer filebrowsing. and it has nice printing features.
I used to use IBrowse on the Amiga, is that what you mean? It was a great browser.

Luddites! Voyager was clearly the best Amiga browser. Right now I use Firefox - mostly out of habit, as Opera now also has almost everything I like about Firefox.
Yeah IBrowse, but spelt (purposely) it like I remember it! Thought it was funny.

I like FF2, although FF3 looks promising too...
Opera for the moment, it might not be the best, but working well.
I used to like FireFox untill they messed it up. The latest version is slow and crashes frequently for me.
Currently IE7 is not an option as that killed my Vista Installation so I only use when M$ force me to.

FF2 was a bit buggy until a few updates ago, it seems ok now tho :/ at least when it does crash it loads up your pages again :)

Last I checked, Opera was the best browser statistically in both speed and in terms of functionality from a base-installation.
(it even passes the Acid2 test)
Personally, I use the latest version of Firefox here, mainly because I like the extensions and themes I got installed for it currently. Does everything I need and crashes mainly because of PEBKAC.
Would have probably been a full-time Opera user though if they had removed that banner-ad (I hate advertisements, period) long before Firefox started getting a good chunk of users.

I'm happy with Firefox (2.0.0.3) due to the extensions. I don't go overboard, but I've added some nice security and web-development bits. Oh, and one that loads the page into IE <bleh> if it requires it.
I've never tried Opera due to its early trial period and ad banner approaches.

Epiphany and Links 2 in graphics mode :)
Epiphany is only for the Gnome desktop environment, so most of you won't find it very useful.
One notable feature is its nice tagging system for bookmarks. It is a bit weird and could use improvements, but is a worthy attempt to make web bookmarks manageable. (And to make things better, the browser has really tidy code!)
It's also one of a very small number of properly desktop integrated web browsers... Here is a good overview.
I also like it because of the amazing Tab Sizer extension.
Links is also great because it's FAST!
I use Firefox in Windows, and I don't mind it but it isn't my favourite anymore. It is rather bulky and big. Of course, lots of that is my own fault; I love extensions. There is nothing at all wrong with it, but with it having terrible integration on my favourite platform, it just can't be the best.
It does indeed have nice extensions, though, and I use it all the time for any web development stuff, so it's tied for first.

My favorite by far is Avant ( www.avantbrowser.com ) great look & feel, good feature set (popup blocker, ad blocker, tabbed browser, etc.)

I use Firefox 1.5.??? - it works, doesn't crash (well I haven't experienced it do so), has nice tabs (I prefer to avoid IE even though they've put tabs in...too many previous bad experiences). However I've only ever tried IE, Netscape and Firefox so not a lot of experience there.

The only big gripe I have with it is that youtube seems to kill it. Doesn't happen right away, but eventually, even after I've closed youtube and moved on to other stuff... it will eventually crash. Other than that, its pretty slick.

I use Firefox, but I hate its tab behaviour. My previous browser ('SlimBrowser' - an IE wrapper) had much better tab behaviour, where it remembered what order you last viewed tabs in. Much nicer.
