Earn Karma and Cash for referrals
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Earn Karma and Cash for referrals
The referral system is now live on www.pjio.com - from today you can earn additional Karma, Credits and Cash from your referrals!
* Earn fantastic rewards for helping the pjio community to grow.
* Invite a friend and earn karma and credits for their activities. You will be awarded 50% of the karma they earn!
* Invite a game developer and earn 50% of the advertising revenue they earn $$$!
* Continue to earn for the lifetime of their account.
* Get inviting and get earning!
The pjio referral system is a two-tier system, you may make as many referrals as you like and you will earn from every one that signs.
Referral data is cached by the browser so even if your referrals don't sign today you'll still be credited when they eventually do sign up.
* Referral dollars come from the pjio pot and not the developers. Credits, when launched, will enable players to unlock premium content and purchase games where appropriate.
How much money can someone make?
That's the $1 question! ;-)
That much?
Isn't $1 about 17p these days?
I'll take the karma. Need a bit more of that in my life.
Yeah it's certainly low. Good old strong pound eh? Good job England sensibly didn't join the Euro.
Well you won't make anything if you don't upload and refer :)
Example:
$2CPM (thats per 1000 impressions)
So each time a page is viewed 0.2Cents is earned.
Each time a game is launched another 0.2Cents is earned.
If a game is ad-enabled it could generate another 0.6cents in 30 minutes.
So, an ad-enabled web-game could generate 1 cent per game play.
1000 plays would yeild $10
Developer gets upto 40% = $4
Referrer gets 50% of 40% = $2
** The CPM figure is not representative of actual numbers. Adverts are paid on a CPC basis (per click) and the CPM will vary depending on the relevance of the advert.
BOTTOM LINE:- More games, more visitors = better adverts = more money for all.
You have 14 players online at the moment.
I'm none the wiser. Has anyone made any money?
@JP, site has been live for 1 week and yes people have made money. Traffic is doubling on a daily basis and so are potential earnings.
How much?
Invite a game developer and earn 50% of the advertising revenue they earn $$$!
Hmm...based on that alone I wouldn't let anyone refer me because it'd take money away from me. Or am I interpreting that wrong?
1000 plays would yeild $10
Developer gets upto 40% = $4
Referrer gets 50% of 40% = $2
So yes, Chroma, you're interpreting that wrong. The 50% is not taken from the developers.
* Referral dollars come from the pjio pot and not the developers
Yeah the pot must get the missing 20% so if you refer developers you get 50% of their 40% = 20% and PJIO gets nothing....interesting business model Tim ;-) Nah I'm kidding I realise that more developers = more games = more visitors = more money.
So this is the future is it, ad revenue from online games?
What would be interesting is to see a REAL CPM value. For example, my blog mainly gets developers visiting and thus my CPM is awful. Whereas my game site and Binary Joy get actual gamers on it and the CPM is much higher.
How are you getting real "gamers" to visit your site as a matter of interest?
Real CPM is above $2 however payment is calculated on audited clicks which may reduce the payments to individuals due to click fraud and other wrongful activities. Impressions and clicks are tracked per game on page and in-game.
With regard to percentages : 40+20 = 60 and that leaves 40%.
How are you getting real "gamers" to visit your site as a matter of interest?
Re-investing the 40%.
haha good job I'm not an accountant, for some reason I had a brain fade and thought a third part got 40% when of course it's Pjio.
Re-investing the 40%.
