News Submissions

It seems some people frequently forget the rules for submitting news, especially this one:

Please keep image sizes to a minimum! Posting images larger than 400x300 will likely result in your item being rejected by the moderators.

If you accidently submitted the wrong image then just resend the entry.

BTW. it's not possible to use HTML code.

Well, I didn't like to say...

The homepage was all messed up on my 1024x768 display because someone posted a massive image in there.

Can't just blame the users, though. Why don't the moderators check before adding submissions?

"jfk" has been a mod for quite a while now - not as long as me though.

Puki couldn't mod his way out of a paper bag ;-)

Anyway, what are the chances of people taking notice of this thread, when they completely ignore a bloody great notice on the "submit news" form??

If they wonder why their entry wasn't published yet, they may read it. This's gonna be sticky for a couple of days only.
