Jetfighter can't start: missing software license

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Jetfighter can't start: missing software license

Austria recently ordered a couple of Eurofighter Jetfighters. Delivery was planed in the middle of this year, but since they have to wait for some software licenses from american vendors, the planes will be delivered not before November 2007.

I wonder what kind of error message's gonna popup when you try to fly one of them without the license. "This Copy is not registered, your will now be grounded". Or maybe "You cheating froggy plane fool, this was your last adventure..."

"Hey guys! The software licence is here. Ok lets boot this baby up!"

There is no mention anywhere in that article about licenses or vendors.

Hey no worries. They just received their software license from the US.

Hehe. Markd - this was the only article I found in english, sorry for my poor recherche. That's all they said in the news etc: they have to wait for software licenses. This is actually the funny thing about it. Imagine the pilot, pausing defense: "Sorry, no way, no license". Even in a war nothing's gonna happen without a license these days.
