Richard Joseph R.I.P

I was reading amigagames.com and came across this news today, Richard Joseph passed away following a battle against lung cancer. He was responsible for creating music for various Amiga games and worked on Sensible Soccer, Chaos Engine, Cannon Fodder, Mega-Lo-Mania, Whizkid, Sensible Golf, Sensible Soccer (PC 2006), Barbarian (C64), Cauldron 2 (C64) etc.

I got the latest retrogamer magazine last week but never got a chance to read it till the weekend... it also mentions Richard Joseph passing away aged just 53.

Its a bit of a sad month as it also has a tribute to Keith Campbell who passed away in 2006. I couldnt place the name initially until I started reading about him and realised I knew him mainly from C&VG magazine reviewing and answering pleas of help in a Adventure Helpline.

Very sad... two people who in very different ways were responsible for some of the fondest memories I have of my youth.

Did Keith Campbell write for other mags too? The name does ring a bell... I seem to remember reading his adventure columns somewhere else...

Reading back through the article he also wrote regular adventure columns in Commodore User ( I never had a commodore :( ).
Im pretty sure he wrote / co-wrote a book about how to write adventure games.
He did write some articles in the original RetroGamer and apparently was in discussions to write a regular column in the new one when he passed away.
