Forum timestamp issue

Hi,

As many people have noticed, the forums are acting pretty weirdly right now.

This appears to be due to the site servers clock having been 'put back' around 12 hours.

Recent posts listed as '4 weeks ago' are due to the site trying to print a negative time difference, which the algorithm assumed it would never have to handle!

Posts made over the last 24 hours or so will be considered 'newer' than posts made more recently.

Things should settle down when time catches up with itself. I think.

Feel free to post here to test that things are indeed fixed.

EDIT: Looking better....or so it appears.

Is the user stats algorithm working? When I checked the home page it said 82 users and 680 guests.

I assume this is related - ie: anyone who logged in before the clock went back is still logged in.

Whatever the problem, the home page displays properly in 800x600, now. No crappy horizontal scrollbar. That one's been bugging me for ages.

and todays lotto numbers are: 28 53 ...

BTW: does that mean the first post in a thread doesn't have to be the intial post? I mean, is the order of the posts messed up?

According to what I saw, the posts are organized per thread based upon the time-stamp tagged to the posts, which works for the most part, until something like recently happens.

Yeah, happened to me, but is now fixed. (This post was made 1 week after you posted and said you had that problem.) :P
