What did you think if Puzzle Quest?

I just tried this out and it seems like Bejeweled but with a lot of unnecessary distraction (ie. quests). It seems like they just threw Heroes of Might and Magic and Bejeweled into a blender.

Hmm.. I think if you're in the Wrestlemania 23 demographic , Puzzle Quest won't appeal to you anyway... ;)

I actually like puzzle quest. In fact, it's probably the only Bejeweled game I have sat and played for more than 15 minutes.

The "fighting" system actually puts certain those of certain "real" role-playing games to shame.

hehe I can't stand wrestling. =P


Edmund and the Orb of Fate (used to be Orbicus) is similar to Puzzle Quest but it uses a totally different puzzle engine (not match-3).

Looks pretty cool. I was thinking about using a puzzle based battle-mechanic in a more traditional old-school style RPG (ala FF2 or 3.)

I'll have to check this game out.

I like it. Shame it isn't coming out on the PC. Can't imagine it'll be nearly as good on the old DS.

It's not? Was the PC demo just marketing for the handheld consoles... or was it cancelled?
