it says: the former german blitz portal is changing completely to darkbasic, due to several things like dbp being more future oriented, lack of support from mark and his crew, BMax being the biggest disappointment ever, the lack of creativity of the community members, dbp being much comfortable, better support from the developers and so on ....

It 'might' be funny if it wasn't only in German but since most people here speak English (it's an English forum) I think the joke has been lost somewhat.

After long brooding, weighing of the advantages and disadvantages the administration has resolved on flash to turn the back and to turn DarkBASIC. One of the principal reasons for the decision was the developments defective last with BMax, former hope. Against it DarkBASIC promises substantially more comfort and also on the part of the developers more support.
In addition, missfällt for a long time the "refusal to work" and the lack of creativity with some Community members. At all work which is put in the main entrance one has to be used the feeling, because barely comes back a little bit. The new Community should be development-oriented. The small talk should be limited and not like last to the Thread " for all questions on which I no answer knows " neglected.
Now it should become a complete new beginning. Hence, all projects were removed, because they were not programmed in DarkBASIC. This main entrance will be accessible time-long still under blitzforum.de ones, however, on given occasion we will move on darkbasicportal.de.
We would be glad if the productive among you could resolve to us to follow.
With hope for a better future,

We just planned to change the logo and wrote a news and then it became its own live. Everyone was wondering and startet crying when we told them that it is serious. Then someone asked at the german DB-board if it is true and their webmaster played our game. From there on it became better and better... It was so funny to see all those guys crying. :D

Geographically Bavaria lies within Germany. Emotionally it's not always the case for some of it's inhabitants but that's another story.
