Protean IDE vs IDEal

Hey peoples,
I've been using Protean IDE for some time now, and I pretty much swear by it; however, I recently downloaded IDEal out of curiosity, and it seems to be just as good as Protean, even though it's not even version 1.0 yet! I'm just wondering, for those of you out there who've used one or the other or both, what your thoughts or comments are as to what advantages they have over each other.

The only real way is to evaluate for yourself. I'm sure both have their pros and cons. Personally I like Protean too much to move away from it - however it does irritate me when I try to move the cursor during an 'intellisense moment' - it sometimes screws up my cursor. I like the way Protean handles my projects and folders - very easy to add stuff in bulk and rearrange things. Not tried IDEal (there's only so many IDEs you can try).

The IDE I use at work (Visual Studio 2005) is fantastic and never annoys me.

It`s true there are so many IDEs out there to try but if you only ever try one more it should be IDEal, it really is worth the effort. And yes, I too used to love Protean but I`ve been converted.
