Jomho SRPG Editor

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Jomho SRPG Editor

Hey, I've been working on this simple, yet very cool:), RPG editor for about six mouths now. I was thinking about maybe selling it on download.com or something, not sure how that would work out though, I just decided to give it away. It has graphics like at the Atari 2600, if you can call those graphics, but it is tons of fun to use. I just put it online today, as well as my updated website, so there is not many tutorials yet, and the editor is far from being finished.

I wanted all of you guys who helped my though all of my hard times on the forums try it out, and even the guys who didn't help me:) I just want to say thanks again, and please tell me what you think.

By the way, I know I don't have many tutorials so feel free to ask me any questions you might have on my jomho.com forums. Maybe you could be my first forum client person:)

Thanks

The "more info..." on the main page has to be a link or somthing, otherwise it just looks silly.

Downloading now

Oops, though I fixed that, thanks a lot:) Tell me what you think of the software. No the more info... link is just for show, lol.

Here's just a simple screenshot

Why did you chose to go with graphics like this?
What makes it an RPG?

Also. It crashed when I tried to close it.

Not bad.. I'm just not sure what it is useful for.

Never had that happen before, sorry. It's a test for the main editor I'm working on. What kind of computer are you running?

By the way, there is a demo game you can play by pressing Help>Examples... It will give you an idea of how the program works. You can also open "Demo Game.sqm" file with the editor to modify it.

Just wanted to let you guys know I updated the tutorials. Now there is a tutorial on multi room games. http://www.jomho.com/TUTORIALS/SRPG_Lesson_02.html

The next one should be on SRPG script, which you can use to mod the NPCs and make them do cool stuff:) If you have questions on SRPG scripting, or anything else, please post to this forum or, so we do not get the administrator mad:) post to my forum. http://www.jomho.com/forum/

Thanks again!
