SciFi Assault Troop Character from ARTERIA

We have just released a new Sci Fi Character Pack, as you can see in the screesnshots above. The character comes with 3 different texture skins and a weapon. The background scifi set in the pictures above are from our sci fi base pack also

This looks good.

I've never seen a space-type gun with what appear to be bayonets before - could be a first. You could certainly could stab someone with it - interesting idea.

I'm glad Arteria keep churning out packs and I would point out to people that their prices are competitive.

only problem I see is the green one looks a lot like the Halo guy.

Maybe to cash in on all the kids who think they're going to make a "Halo-killer*" :P



*I mean, they've got tons of great ideas for the BEST FPS EVAR. Of course, no coding or art skills - but that's not a problem since coders and artists should feel lucky to work on the next greatest FPS led by such a brilliant and innovative individual, and they'll even pay you 5% of it's gross earnings after it's completed in 6 months.

I totally resent the halo comments. Im not even a halo fan, my thing is more warhammer 40k.
The model in no way reflects halo - please do a side by side view of my model and have halo, and there is no resemblance. My character was made as a spaceman, more bulkier, and thats exactly what he resembles.

Its just like saying, if i made a human, it would look like another human - similarities, are in the genre, thats all.

yeah,but then they could be like a 'double edged sword',stun the enemy first with the taser, hack him to bits with bayonets. interesting concept,and quite possibly fun,in a disturbing way :-]

anyway,nice looking work steve,if i need models in the future,ill make sure i run past your site first ;-]

Yertari: I must say that the first thought that popped in my mind was "oh they are using the Chief-model". That said it's not a bad thing as you say it's very different. Still in the end it will be what other people thinks of it that will determine their decision of buying or not. Not the actual fact that it might not look exactly like the Halo-model.

I'm not claiming it was intentional or that it's even a bad thing, but I don't think you can really say that there is "no resemblance," especially given your choice of color for both the armor suit and the visor.

No need to get so defensive - your work is good and I think it might be a positive that it reminds people of Halo. :)
