Just launched yesterday...indieinfo is a news site for independently developed games, apps, tools, etc. To submit your news you can use the site's 'Submit News' link or just email me at markdeaton at gmail dot com.
Bring on the news :)

Nice website, hopefully I (might) have something to submit by the end of the summer - regards - BP.
cool I'll keep an eye on it.
Thanks, I've been hacking at it all weekend. Check out the top right of the site...you can change colors, font size and site width.
I hope to get some content rolling very soon as I'm looking forward to being able to give to the community. I'm open for ideas for things such as tutorials, a code database, etc.
cool, good luck with it. What about links to interesting blog posts about the Indie business such as this one of mine?

If you register, you'll see a link called 'Submit WebLink'. I would do it but I'd rather you give it a shot so I can ensure I'm notified when someone submits a link. Gotta make sure it works!
I thought it was another indiepath site :)
I thought it was another indiepath site :)
:) Clever eh :)
Nice site, let's see how it develops.
I miss a category overview.
Thanks Wedoe. What do you mean by category overview?
OK I can't submit a weblink as it says "You must enter a category" yet the category droplist only has one item "- select category - " ;-)
I'll be adding categories later this afternoon, sorry about that. As soon as I do I will let you know.
thanks.
Nice site..
Are you gonna support apps/games for other platforms (OSX and Linux) as well?
I'm thinking about perhaps sorting on OSX/Linux apps/games, and news articles on the different platforms etc?
[edit] oh.. I just saw you had some Mac news there...
Last time I checked, I only saw windows stuff.. [/edit]
Yes, all platforms. If it's an independently developed game then I'm all for posting about it. Good idea on the platform sorting, I'll see what I can do.
I was thinking earlier of creating a game database with columns for game name, team name, platform(s) (thanks to you) and current dev status (alpha, beta, in development, etc).
Some basic categories are in Grey.
thanks I'll do it tomorrow.
Made some changes to the site, what do you all think of the graphics/colors? Still a bit to do. I've tried hard to keep everything Firefox friendly.
Toss me your 468x60 banner if you have one...advertising is free.
Another addition... the Game List. Use the forum to request your game be tossed into the list. To view the list go to the site and click Game List (no really!). I'm open for suggestions to enhance the list.
If anyone fancies posting news once in a while, every day, whatever... toss me a line.
I've got some news for you, and that banner ad :)
What's the traffic like mark?
It's a bit slow as the site is only a little over week old. I'm confident that it will pick up over time. Once the word spreads I'll probably have more news coming in than I can handle.
The only advertising I've done is here, gamedev and the indiegamer forum. I want to get a bit more content in there and a good rhythm going before I go all out with anything.
Good deal on the news and the banner ad...anytime you're ready.
I'm also looking for articles on anything related to indie development, art, sound... anything. You'll get full credit of course.
Added a 'Job Board'. Registered users can post jobs, search and apply for game-related jobs. Also some other tweaks and twinges here and there. Please feel free to stop by, register and get some comments going. Comments are good :).
Everything is free of course (notice I rotate banners and host downloads. how's that for a good deal?).
