PC Format UK :BlitzMax letter

Not seen it mentioned but there's a letter from Michael Denathorn (Dabz?) asking for a feature on BlitzMax in this month's PC Format.
Response is, if enough people email in, PC Format will run one.

How many's 'enough', I wonder?

Anyway, if this publication was worth it's salt, it should be running features on stuff like BlitzMax without having to get readers to email in, as far as I'm concerned. It should be them informing readers, not the other way around. :/

...but this is PC Floormat we're talking about. Future Publishing has always been a 'pet hate' of mine. I could go on about being conned by a competition they ran in Amiga Floormat some years ago, but I won't.

Ah - well, I'm not familiar with them, TBH. In fact, I haven't bought a single PC mag in the longest time. :)

I thought they mentioned Blitzmax a few issues ago? Or was that PC Zone...

Does anyone still read print magazines any more? I stopped when Amiga Power tanked. The idea of hiring journalists based on integrity and writing skills, had such a huge appeal it was almost embarrassing trying to read another magazine after that.

I used to subscribe to PCW until a few months ago. I thought it was a very good mag with some decent regular features on using Access and other such good stuff. I should probably just have bought a book instead though.

I realised Blitz3D was alive and well thanks to a demo on a coverCD of a magazine... which led me to buying B3D and BMax.

I subscribed to retrogamer until a few months ago. It was nice, I really should renew the subscription.
