Anyone used RMTP ?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Anyone used RMTP ?

If anyone has any experience of Reliable Multicast Transmission Protocol from an implementation standpoint I'd appreciate their views,

thanks ina advance,

Blitzplotter.

I thought it was Royal Mail Transfer Protocol.

In which case, it's totally unreliable and you get so many lost packets you should never consider using it.

..Seriously though? I have no idea, but I needed to say the above.

Sorry :)

LMAO... (;-) i think the packets that look like birthday cards with money tend to get lost more than others......

Dont be silly, they just arrive opened.
Mind you at least "doing a UK postal" is stealing your money, not like "doing a US Postal"

We had a light-fingered postie once - all my bros b'day cards (with money) went AWOL. :/

@ H&K Do you work for the Royal Mail ?

@ big10p , we'd a similar problem with our postie.... must've been some right dodgy posties in scotland in the eighties....

so, RMTP sux... (;-), back to mcasting then.....

Yeah, was the 80's. :) Amazing how they thought they'd get away with it! We got this ******* busted. :P
