I currently use Protean for Blitz, however I need something good for javascript, asp, etc. Something that has alot of features. Please dont say Context, cause I currently use it and when I print out code, it just looks like crap no matter how I configure the printing options, and it just doesnt have enough features.
What do the rest of you use?
For ASP / Javascript just a simple text editor (Textpad). Has syntax highlighting for most languages.
Well, I'd like version control, and anything else that makes my job easier (like collapsable function blocks, etc).
The project I am currently working on requires that I edit javascript, html, asp, and a few other formats, All in the same project, so version control would be a handy thing (like version notes or something).
How about UltraEdit?
Hmmm, downloading..... one min....

nuff said. :)
Notepad++
Lightweight notepad-replacement with syntax highlighting + you can define own languages (for highlighting). I use this a lot for level editing and such and do most of my web stuff with it.
eclipse looks nice, but very bloated (230mb download?!?)
Notepad++ looks nice, but it's a one man project which can mean abandonware....
I think I'll stick with Ultraedit for the time being (at least for the 45 day trial). Seems to have everything I need for now.
Thanks for the advice gents!
