I just installed BlitzMax and Blide on my danish Vista version and they work just fine.

Tried my Blue-Agent 69 game with no problems at all.

Yep your rigth, not so good sound.

Can of worms, to be honest.

Check the Blitzmax Module Tweaks forum - lots going on regarding sound.
