Did anyone who was with NT::Telewest get their new Virgin Media booklet?
Since Telewest are now owned by Virgin I'm wondering what people think of all the hype Branson is churning out.
eg.
50mbit Broadband Connections
More HD CHannels
Mobile phone as part of the TV/Phone and Broadband packages.
etc.
WTH is a "Virgin Media booklet"? No, dont tell me, i have a girlfriend...
I'm interested in HD TV. I mean what's the point in owning a HD LCD / Plasma if you don't watch HD content on it?
I would buy from Branson, but not from Murdoch.
Haven't got a booklet yet. Worried though - adverts on Sky One are saying that VM are probably going to drop the channel. I watch a lot of Simpsons so I'd be miffed...
I work for Virgin Mobile, part of Virgin Media and to be honest, the mobile bit of it at least is a pretty good deal. I heard Telewest + NTL were trialing 50 meg connections.
I just wish I could get bloody cable in my area. Sods.
[edit: Also, re dropping channels: internal communcations indicate this is all a fuss over sod all. We're not looking to drop any channels ]
