Who is the best? - who should we avoid? Hand it over Google you fat tart.
Why would they want to help their competition save money by telling them what specific makes/models to avoid? they're rather have Yahoo & MSN waste money on poor drives.
...Plus saying that brand -x- sucks might find them on the receiving end of a lawsuit as well.
Bottom line:
- If SMART thinks a drive is going wonky then you better rush out and get a new one right away
- About half the failures come out of the blue with no warning
But don't ignore SMART warnings, it's typically right. :-?
