Not me. Played for a couple of months about a year ago. Then came to the realization that I was spending time doing the same grinding over and over again for no true reward other than the ability to call myself "an uber-nerd with no life to speak of".

Nope, i'm on Vanguard : Saga of Heroes now....probably a bad idea though since the last MMORPG i played (City of Villians) took a couple months of my time away from me...
WOW is a bit too multiplayer for me. What I mean is that you can't log in, have a play for about a hour and expect to get anywhere with it. It needs long term, long hours of dedication of which I can't really be bothered to give it.
Now, COD2 on the other hand; you can join a multiplayer map with over 40 players on it and have a short blast of fun for about 40 minutes and log off feeling like you've had a good play.
Personally, anyone that sits in front of a PC all day playing a game online just to get to level 2 needs help. :)

I play it with my girlfriend, so it's not too bad. And my time on it lately has reaklly come down, I'm down to maybe no more than six or seven hours a week now.
yes Amon, I agree completely, if you sat there all day just trying to get yourself up to level 2, I'd have to come round and cut your hands off! :-P
I stopped playing WoW last september. The craving and itching from the addiction ended a couple of weeks ago.
I'm clean now, although I almost fell for EVE-Online last week. It looks like I have to steer away from MMORPGS for the rest of my life. A well, luxury problem.

Played for about a month, got the gist and decided it was the biggest waste of time and money ever. It was cool for a little while and I would have loved it as a kid but as an adult it's just way too time consuming.

Used to play wow religiously for 1.5 years a up until about 6 months ago. After 3 level 60 characters and a bunch over 40 it all got a bit old.
I still have an account, but I've only dabbled over the last few months.

Another ex player here - spent literally days of online play on it. It's not a healthy game...
I only play is casually here......mainly because I have another MMORPG (FFXI >.>) as to which I dedicate most of my "boredom" time to instead.

I was surprised how easy it was to play WoW casually, only picked it up to tinker around with my bro (he's been playing it a couple years now casually, hasn't interfered once with his actual life unlike many other horror stories)...
Really helps that the game (for the most part) can be solo'd, although it has the side effect of bringing upon itself a bit of an anti-social community, and the fact all the idiots you hate can easily hit the level cap just as well as you can, unlike FFXI which requires you not to be a dick to progress....for the most part.
(due to the fact you *have* to group with others to gain experience points)

I used to be a Myth of Soma, and Legend of Mir junkie but now happily I've been saved by a woman....or should that be SAAAAAaaaved by a woman ;)

MMORPG's will never be successfully sued by anyone. Totally because players devote time to them at their own choice. I'd not be able to sue Peter jackson for me getting ill watching all the LOTR's extended versions back to back.
That's not necessarily true. If it could be proven that a game was designed to increase it's addicting qualities (and I've no doubt that most of them are) it could very well be argued that these games prey on those who are susceptible to such addictions. It's definitely not a black & white scenario.
