The concerning thing is that thing as a big community forum under it - I'm watching them now.
Russia is the warez capital of the world. They're a law unto themselves.
I've already emailed BRL. I find it annoying that they put this on their own Russian Blitz Community website - I find it shocking that a forum of Blitzers (Russian or not) allow this.
I'm now watching them very closely.

Considering they give an email address for all of the downloads - I may as well quote it here:

They are distributing full versions and I would invite any Blitzer to forward their objection to that email address - considering they give you the option of using that email address when downloading I am hardly passing on information that is secret.

Jesus - I just got into the source site where they are hosting this stuff - there's more in there.
They are hiding more stuff in there - there are newer updates for Blitz3D.
I'm rooting through what is there.
Looks like they have TGC stuff too - so I will forward relevent info on to them.

If anyone is curious how I came across this - it is basically what I have posted on these forums before where I have noted more than one Russian faction with the same content on their sites with regard to shadow systems and water systems, etc.

I don't know why people are surprised. I'm pretty sure there's nothing you can do about this, because the laws over there.
A quick search on some torrent sites reveals plenty of blitz3d downloads. You can't stop software pirates, not to say you shouldn't try though. If someone doesn't want to pay for something, they won't.

Hmm, I found the site and it seems to be a real b3d download. I find this somewhat frustrating.
However, I don't think it is wise to spam that guy, because it will only upset him, resulting in him becoming annoyed and leaving the download available as a form of protest.
It would have been better to let BRL contact 'pprogs' hoping he would be intimidated a bit.
However -since he allready seems upset- it seems better to explain to him that BRL is a rather small company that can't afford Blitz3D to become freeware, ask him to remove the download and hope that he, as a programmer, will respect that. Maybe he can put the demo on instead, which would not really make a difference for a beginner.

This sounds reminiscent of the recent wrapper of Blitz3D incident. There's some bad $#!+ going on over there in Russia but I get a feeling it's all the same few people. IMT labs and friends IMO. While they may be great coders, they suck at following rules and laws. No way to stop them though, sadly. I'd never buy IMT-Lab tools. This is a perfect reason why.

They seem to have been changing passwords on their FTP servers - but I have claimed the new ones - I'm in too deep for them to shake me.
