My computer's been going slow recently. It takes a while to boot up and programs open slowly and make other programs lag when they open.
I've done all the basics: Disk Cleanup, Defregmanter, Virus Scans (including at boot up), Deleting files I don't need, Uninstalling programs I don't need, disabling start up things and registry cleanup/defrag.
It still runs slow though. I recently (not so recently to have been the cause) upped my RAM to 1Gb and that was just because I wanted to and not due to slowness.
Is there anything else that could be causing the lag? Or is it just time to format my PC and reinstall windows (I hope not because I can't find the disk :D)
Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated!
