I'm on the telly again

For those in the UK who can get BBC3, I have a small and unpivotal but strangely handsome regular role in the new sitcom "Thieves Like Us", which first shows on Monday 22nd Jan at 8:30pm. I play PC Bennett, and though I only really have one major dialogue scene in the whole series (with one of my all time heroes Roger Sloman), I crop up a bit in other episodes. I'm mainly plugging this for my brother though, who wrote the series, adapting his book The Burglar Diaries. (Yes, it helps to have your brother as the writer when you want an audition.) I think the first episode can also be streamed from the BBC3 website until tomorrow.

It seems to have polarised the critics (better than being middle of the road, I suppose) but I hope the public like it because I'm going to be guilt-tripping my brother for all the Chinese burns he gave me in the eighties, to write more for Bennett if it goes to a second series...

I saw a clip for "Thieves Like Us", it looks like it might be fun. I'll keep an eye out for PC Bennett.

Tonight's the night... get those peepers on the box and get those viewing figures up! Get me that second series!

as I recall its on again tonight... and the bbc website should still have it available to view online.
I didnt get a chance to see it all either.. I got a phone call a few mins into it... What I saw of it was pretty good... Its always hard to tell on the first episode but Ill certainly watch it again properly.

I caught it. Not sure what to think - there weren't really any likeable characters in it and they all seem to talk with the same annoying brand of sarcasm.

I'll give it another go. Sit-coms take a while to bed in.
