The queue to buy my new game

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/The queue to buy my new game

I wish, or it could be the geek fest for the new WoW expansion pack.

Where's Wally/Waldo?

Strange. So few women in the queue. Go figure. :p

yeah I get the impression most of the female characters in the game aren't really women

The day I queue like that for a computer game, is the same day I realise my life is utterly worthless.

lol. Well, I certainly agree with that if you add dressing up like a complete idiot, as well. :p

Avon: lol yeah. I'd just wiat and buy it later, except I'm not buying that at all.

I'd queue like that for a few things:

a) to meet Jackie Chan
b) to be a volunteer to go into space.
c) to pickup £1,000,000 at the front of the queue

d) to get the max3D module

Wow, not many women in that picture ;-)

I find it strange that the only person in the crowd that has red-eye... is the guy in the witch outfit with the green face.

I'm scared just a little........

That's a shame to hear that you aren't interested in anything enough to do something like that. Passion is a rare thing. I hope you get to experience it one day.

Big ears and his stoned friend have slight red eye too.

Hmm, there seems to hide a beautiful woman on the right side.. :O)

I queued up for Elite on the spectrum. (Well that is its realease was Monday, but it was there in the shop on saturday afternoon, and I just stood there being a kid, for ages. Until the manager sold it to me.

you mean these good-looking chaps:

The woman with the scarf? o_O

She looks like she'd rather be having root canal work done. Prolly queing for her spoiled little son, or summat. -_-

No, i meant her...

all that's missing is them all chanting brains! brains! and shuffling slowly towards the cashier.

Isnt she the reporter covering the story?

Must be tough between all those weirdos.

Isnt she the reporter covering the story?
Either that or she's a cashier. The only fit women there are BEHIND the counter. :p

Did you not notice the key words "computer game"? How did you interpret that as "you aren't interested in anything enough"?

Where's Wally
Well, the biggest wally is clearly the adult male wearing a child's witch costume.

If this is what WoW does to your brain, I'll continue to give it a miss.

Waiting in line is half the fun if you ask me ... of course I usually only wait for system launches, definitely not WoW. Of course my dream is to create something that causes people to queue up like that!

So many beards...

Actually that pic reminds me of the old BlitzCon photos.

It's fairly clear. If you don't understand why these people are lined up like that, then you don't understand being truly passionate about something. Therefore, you must not have ever experienced what they're experiencing. Simple logic leaps.

I don't know why the fact that it's video game related makes it somehow worthy of mockery.

Where did I say that I "don't understand" these people? How is it "simple logic" that if I can't be passionate about a computer game, then I can't be passionate about anything?

So does that mean that if you are passionate about computer games then you can't be passionate about anything else?

Nah, there are tons of reasons why this is worthy of mockery, not just the fact that it is video game related.

My particular favourite is the authentic looking knight with spectacles.

You're clearly not hearing what I'm saying. Never mind.

You know that if there were a group gathered like this in game it'd turn into a masacre. Did anyone read about that funeral that they held in game? A bunch of people crashed it and killed everyone that went to an in game funeral for a real person who had passed. Looks like the guy on the right is plotting something.

Heh, I had to read that twice. First time, I thought you were talking about the shop/store called 'game'. O_O
