bread cooling!

I may be the first to ever use four slices of frozen bread wrapped in cling film to keep my router cool (it's overheating and resetting), but it worked! for three hours!!!! call me crazy?!?! I pwn u u nub!

Why on earth would he want a cooling fan, when he has plenty of frozen bread to use up? ;)

What kind of router do you have? If it's a more recent Linksys WRT54g... I am sorry :(
(Those things are so awful these days, that Linksys tech support told me "I am using it too much" even though I only ever have - at most - two hard connections and a wireless connection open at once... and the router has 4 ports for wired alone! Lame product testing / tech support FTW! :( ).

... And.. Why don't you just put the router into the freezer?

it's a belkin one, there's loads of postings online about overheating issues.
I'm probably going to put in a placky bag and hang it out the window, or I could waterproff it and submerge it in water....... (or god forbid, I could buy a new router)

I avoid Belkin stuff like the plague. Belkin are the "Netto" of computer hardware.

Not really. I have found that most of their IDE cables have short life spans. Much like GFK, I avoid Belkin as well!
