Anyone know if there are any VGA cables for the Nintendo Wii available in the UK.

Would have to use means of an adapter or modulator (can't recall the specific one required) for the composite/component cables with an output to VGA.

I've got a device that converts composite to VGA, but it's too low res for my tft screen to display. Works fine on my bulky crt screen, which I don't have the space for.
You probably want one that converts component to VGA, not composite. Still it's going to be low res because that's all the Wii can support.
The wii set to 60hz 480p will be pretty darn close to vga sync rates - the wii I think only allows 480p if component cable inserted.
The conversion from component to rgb is a bit tricky, but google says products already available for that:

HSync and VSync are a bit more tricky so that product won't probably be able to be converted, i would say wait a few more weeks and ask google again.
