Blitz3d

(New at the forums let me know where this should go if not here)

Hey, i recently bought Blitz3d (yeasterday) and when i go to download it, its at 300bytes/sec and i have DSL high speed, on top of that after waiting 3 hours for it to reach 4.2mb\23.1mb it decides to say its completed so i click ok, and it gives me a error saying "This file is 4.2mb, it should be 23.1mb"

got any ideas? Looking forword to becoming a part of the blitz community!

Again new at the forums let me know if this is the right place for this

Edit: on my 6th try still gives me a "Download done" at 4.2mb/23.1mb and i know its not the file, because when downloading it tells me its 23.1mb >.>

Edit2: Is there a way to download the full Blitz3d off the website? i see Updates and Docs under accounts.. i tried downloading the lastest update it kinda worked but the help page was all messed up.. so that tells me they arent full, just updates.

Use another browser like Opera/FireFox, or using FlashGet

I imagine that for some reason your provider was overloaded for the holiday period. Try again at a different time of day.

If on the other hand 300 bytes per second is a normal download speed for you, then you need to have you dsl looked at again. Cos as said its rubbish

yea im hoping my mail to BR is responded to with a mirror normaly my DL speed is 70KB/S

The error isn't on their end. I can grab anything off here at my connections cap (1Mb).

the blitz3Dsetup.exe download is not at BB.com after buying the link was e~mailed from shareit.com

Yahfree: e-mail support@... with your registration number and they can send you a copy of the setup.

Its a download manager.

For a download manager, I would recommend GetRight:

I've tried many other download managers, but none are as reliable, compatible, and fast as GetRight. With many download managers (like flashget) I've noticed files downloaded with threading often get corrupted and I can't use them. With GetRight, I have never got a corrupted download (unless it was corrupted on the server - which is rare), and even hard system crashes won't reset your download's progress (or corrupt them).

P.S. Also, if your normal download speed is 70 KB/s and you have a 768K or faster connection, you can use GetRight to use multiple download threads to reach your connection's top speed, even on slow servers (so if you have a 1.3MB DSL connection, you'll get around 160 KB/s).

However, threading may not work on secured downloads like the one provided to you by ShareIt. In your case I would recommend using FireFox's built-in download manager; hopefully it will get you a little more than 300 B/s.

hahahahahaha. It doesnt matter what download manager he gets. The BRL downloads are non resumable (Well for me anyway)

H&K, i looked under accounts and product updates i don't see any full blitz3d downloads, but i did send BRL a email through the contact interface requesting a mirror, or a attachment, if you know where i can find the full download on BB.com let me know :\

Still no reply, going on 53 hours from when i sent off the e-mail to BRL support, any other ideas? i tried the latest update in the account page, downloaded, it works, but the help screen is all messed up, so its not the full vblitz3d, just a update.

Maybe try installing the DocPacks too - that might fix the help screen (although you'll probably still be lacking some of the documentation and examples).

Both or just the latest? i tried the latest along with the latest update still, the help page don't work, Shareit, is sending me a free backup disk for the messed up server, should be here in 10 days, would be nice if i could get this running before that though

I meant just the latest, but if that's not working, I'm not sure what you should do (aside from waiting for your CD to arrive).

errrrr, Download Emule, Grab a Warez version of B3d, then logon here and download the Update.

I in no way condone the use of Emule for other than downloading Shareware

Blitz clothing - wouldn't it be great? We need Blitz merchandise - oh god I cannot contain the excitement.

We could have Blitz baseball caps, sweatshirts, T-shirts, baseball tops (I think that is what they are called).

This is so up my street - I could organise it.

Out of interest, who else wants to buy Blitz clothing?

My god, is this still an issue? I lost my BlitzPlus setup and e-mailed support@... with my registration number, and within 24 hours I had a FAST download link to grab it with. No need to wait for a crappy CD.
