Wii - LOADING TIMES

Can anyone please help?

How long does each section of Zelda take to load on the Wii?

We are experienceing black screens/crackly noise or seilence and loading times of between 30-60 seconds for each small section of the intro, where Link and Epona are first together, up to Ordan Village and the Racnh -

I can't believe in this day and age that Nintendo would accept Black screens and loading times of upto 1 minute for a 15 seconds piece.

Can anyone ley me know if they are finding the same thing with their Wii + Zelda combination?

I'm getting a 5-15 second loading time, if that. Sounds to me like there's either a problem with the disc or a problem with the drive. Must be a bummer to have to sit through so much loading time.

You have a 5-15 second loading with your Wii? Mine is pretty much instantaneously as soon as I sit down.

You sit down to pee? o_O

Yes of course, gives me ample time to txt a few friends on my mobile in the meantime. Why do manual when you can have hands free?

Anyway, back on topic...

I got roughly 5-10 seconds of loading between sectors, sounds like something is up with your copy/system.

the problem seems to have cleared itself with a another clean of the disc and a reboot.

I could not believe the amount of time to load a game, so I hoped it wass a bit of dust or something.

Any way all is well now, only a few seconds for each section, and the game is well good. 3 hours in, just become Link now.

Yeah, did sound a bit like a dirty disc problem.

BTW, what size are Wii discs? CD size or GameCube game size?

Pedestal basin size.

You got a wii, cool! Wish I had the time/money. Actually I could run out and buy one (if there *were* any on sale) but I'll wait a bit longer...got some important decisions to make and the Wii would be a *huge*, but cool, distraction.

I could get a wii at any time, just not willing to pay 2x the price for one. my local shop has them in at £349.99
