PC v's Mac adverts...

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/PC v's Mac adverts...

Earlier today I posted a thread called "Santa vs Jesus."

This was definately NOT meant to be a religious post, it is a little bit of fun which also happens to be a direct comparison/parady of the Apple web site's, PC v's Mac adverts which are hilarious - even if you love PCs.

The Santa vs Jesus adverts are a parady of these adverts, and although they have other mesages within them, the corrolation is so striking, you would have to be stoopid not to see it.

I meant them to bring a little happiness and fun to everyones Yule time.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, whiz over to the Apple website and look for videos with a smart (pc) chubby bloke (Santa) and a cool looking dude (Mac/Jesus) then perhaps it will shed a little light on the whole subject.

Happy Yule tide, whatever ...

(Chill out dudes... chill out!)

At least the Apple ads are free...

I would be scared of anyone who paid money for these. Besides they're blasphemous lies, and they make the Magic Winter Goblin cry.

I like them and for me it's part of the fun that they sometimes aren't true. Hey the PC is just cute... :O)

Wow, the Quicktime plugin is crashing IE now, too!
(Why would I ever pay for this crashy Quicktime player? Hmm?)

Yah, the newer ads are a lot better than the older ones :)
Not as much pointless and pointy generalized lies, but more specific things that, yes, Mac OS does very nicely out of the box. Good for them to set right a painful advertising campaign!
Although this one was rather pointless and stupid... I guess they had to do it though.
Now it's only a matter of time before they introduce the Mac's BSD cousin, right?

You could pay for Quicktime if you just want a easy and cheap way to encode movies for instance if you're living on the osx planet. On windows things might look different as i remember Apple programs there more to be a drag.
