Can't Connect to www.blitzbasic.com

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Can't Connect to www.blitzbasic.com

Any ideas on whats going on? I thought bb.com was down for the past few days, but turns out-- I can't reach it normally.

Its like my ip's been banned or somethin :P

( I'm using a proxy right now to connect. )

Can this be sorted?

If www.blitzbasic.com and www.blitzmax.com and or www.blitzbasic.co.nz do work it's probably just a dns hickup.

None of them work unless I use the proxy server.

I guess I'll just wait it out, thanks.

you're not a comcast customer by any chance?

We use verizon.

Well, I've no idea why, but for some reason I've always had trouble accessing this particular site. Even on the occasions when I can get the pages to actually load, they always seem to take an eternity and dangit all - I'm in New Zealand!

Mind you, I've only got a dial-up connection, but nevertheless, it still seems worse than virtually every other site I regularly browse.

We use verizon.

I have Verizon DSL myself, and haven't had any problems connecting here.

I had some problems a while back and had to cut the www. bit off

It could be MALware... You use ADaware and EMCO??? Also BHOdemon? Haxfix???

I wrote a .BAT file that resets your internet protocalls when MOST of my sites would not open... it was malware. I had to run it twice... I disclaim that this may NOT fix your problem but it does have its uses... I will post it again if you want to see it. I make no promises on its use! :)

Can't you try flushing your DNS - "ipconfig /flushdns" from a DOS box, or summat.

/me knows little about networky things, TBH

I'd guess the internet in the near future is going to have all sorts of glitches after the experience I've just had with IPV6, ubuntu (which has it enabled by default) and a DLink router. I could ping some sites not others, browse only sites I'd already been to when the machine was at BRL etc. etc.
