An XBox 360-compatible KVM?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/An XBox 360-compatible KVM?

Friend of mine has been bugging me with X360 questions lately. Most were easy, but now he's got a KVM that doesn't work properly with his widescreen monitor and PC. He thinks it's a compatibility issue, though I just think it's a crappy Belkin KVM which appears to have many, many reviews claiming it keeps switching to the first device regardless of the switch.

Anyway, if anyone has first hand experience of a KVM which works good, I'd love to get him off my back for a while. Preferably something cheap. If it costs much, he won't buy it and I'll still keep getting pestered.

EDIT: Obviously, he's not trying to share a keyboard or mouse. It's just the VGA switch he wants.

Cheers.

Never mind, I found him a VGA switchbox on Ebay for less than a KVM which is specifically sold for PC and XBox 360. They have quick delivery too, so hopefully it'll keep him quiet.

I just went out and bought the cheapest nastiest KVM I could find and it works fine. No problems switching between PC and 360. I dont use PS/2 K/B or Mouse but I plugged em' in anyway to get power to the thing. No problems what-so-ever. Anyway its an Avocent Switchview IC. Works great.

Thanks, I'll pass that on. Looks like he can pick one up for about £25 so if the switchbox doesn't work out, he can grab one of those.
