Hi Guys
I dont really know how, the internet works as so to say. Im able to get on as you see (or I couldnt do this message) But a site, that ive been going to, all of a sudden has been unreachable. I have other users who can get on, because we have another sight and he let me know he was able to do so. So the sight is funtional. And the the other users are from the US as well. Im a little lost as to how, while typing a post on a sight, all of a sudden go dead for me. The site in question is www.syntaxbomb.com . Its been two days now, since ive been able to get on. Does IE7 have anything to do with it?

I can confirm that it's up. It may well be you ISP's DNS servers not replicating properly - I used to have the same issue with Tiscali in the UK.

It is working? (crying to self) How do I check the ISP's DNS server thingy. I hate sounding retarded LOL But, Im a little lost as to checking things like that. Im actually going to go a town over an check on my nephews computer. I have an additional computer in this house, but can log on with that one either?

Talk to your ISP about the DNS servers, see if they have alternatives for you. 99.99% of the time the websites magically reappear as soon as you put the phone down to them :P

Dave, its working fine :)

If you use a router to access the internet then it's admin control panel will have settings for primary and secondary DNS numbers. Once you've found those either call your ISP for alternate DNS numbers or Google for alternate ones for your ISP.

I bet there are other sites you can not access too, although you may not have come across them.

When I was with BT internet I had to do the same thing as some site would just seem to disappear from time to time.
