There seems to be alot more loyalty to PS3 than the Wii. Notice how the comments about the Wii smashing are "Awesome" & "Funny". Then the comments about the PS3 smashing are "You ^*&(%# Idiot" etc.

heh kind of stupid, they did that with the 360 when it was launched. Ah well, I'm not really interested in either so it looks even more stupid from my perspective.

It may be because that I imagine most Wii fans support having fun more than PS3 fans would?!?! I guess thats just a big assumption though.

It did seem a bit stupid of him to buy those then smash them, but he did provide some entertainment to those still waiting on the other hand.

The Wii came apart pretty quickly. The PS3 took a massive amount of beating with the plastic mallet. At least it would make a good anchor for a boat.

Some guy (same one?) already did this when the 360 was released, so doing it with EVERY new console that's released, the 'joke' wears a bit thin.

well I checked out his SmashMyPS3 site. Looks like he collected enough in donations to pay for the system. So it didn't cost him anything, and he gets all of the ad revenues his sites will generate.

Not a bad idea, really.

Oh! I will never understand these people. If they're against Sony (or Nintendo or MS or XXX) why the buy their products and destroy them? Just don't buy it (no gains for Sony, Nintendo, MS or XXX) and give the money in charity, research and so on...
