Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Must... Have... Gears... Of... War! For me, Forza 2 would be the thing I'd like to play.
I found that after completing PGR3, downloading a few arcade games (most of which were more enjoyable than their £39.999 counterparts) and spending a lot on upgrades (turning my core pack into something usable), I was bored with it.
The last 15 times I used it, it was to play Uno. I've got real Uno sitting not 5 feet away from me and friends who love to play Uno 5 minutes cycling away.
Sold the thing for £200. I'll get another one when: -
1) Price drops.
2) Modchips enable homebrew and large hard drives.
I want to use my emulators on it (I have virtually every Amiga, C64, Vic-20, Spectrum, NES, SNES, N64, Megadrive, GameBoy, GameBoy Advance and MAME ROM). I would also guess that it may have the power to emulate a PS2 in a usable fashion (having tested a PS2 emu on my PC to play Rez).
I will be purchasing a full HD TV at some point within the next 18 months. It would be nice to be able to use the 360 to store and play (or play via network) my collection of MPEG2 HDTV films at 1080p with DD5.1 passthrough.
Until then, I'll stick with a Wii for my console gaming.

Its been out for over a week now. Played it a friend's house the other day. Incredible graphics and sound. Makes heavy use the "duck and cover" style of fighting. One odd thing is that you can't jump in the game but rather use an action button to crawl over things that requires it....

as with the Xbox, most things that are really worth it will also come out on the PC... Like Halo, and Morrowind.

Im not really a fan of the 'Elder Scrolls' series. Oblivion was probably the coolest of the lot that I have played, then again it was the only one from the title.
I loved Halo, probably clocked the original a few times over, and over, and over again. Clocked Halo 2 twice, loved the elite sword. Got pretty damn good with it too.
