Yay it's Friday - What d'you plan to achieve.....

Well ideally I'd like to add that little bit of polish to my BMax app... back in the real word I'll be cracking on with some college related VB.net, a little Entity relationship modelling after mulling over a 3000 word assignment, Oh yeah - did I mention beer!

...Well, after my daily rant (Damn you FF3 saving!) I'll hopefully be able to pop together an early BMax version of Equilibrium (a very weird game) now that I am 100% resigned to my inability to do artwork.
Maybe a quick DS input mechanism in the hopes of someone else doing the rest (a replacement to DSOrganize)...

Sleep and R&R in general would be nice. Maybe Sauna and beer too. And a movie. And if this flu would go away too I'd be very happy.

I'd like to get the framework of my MUD servers account system up and working today. I also need to keep plugging away at my database design.

Write at least another page for our final project, go and watch the Borat movie (been postponing that for ages) and go to bed (comparatively) early and with any luck, get a good nights sleep for once.

Today I'll be mostly working on my Blitzmax game. And when that either stresses me out or I get bored and need a break, I'll continue my design documents for the next two games.

I've been up and coding for six hours now. Think I've finally fixed two nasty bugs in my game that were popping up every few minutes before. Haven't had either of them in nearly 2 hours now. :D

In a few short hours I will be following the teachings of The Pickford. Its been a long week.

I'm knee deep in artwork. Hoping to get a few backgrounds done this weekend.

22 miles over 3 months... I started a little late so I'm trying to shoe horn 22 miles (1408 lengths in a 25m pool) into a month, only 598 lengths to go before 3 Dec.

And on top of my initial post - am en route to the west mids to do some visiting blah..... that's where the beer is!

I've been concreting today and got soaked, the concrete was as wet as hell and I've got to go back in hour intervals to check if it's ready to trowel off, past experience make me think I'll not get to bed till 2am-3am tomorrow morn. And I've been up since 7am today! :(

@ big10p - LOL.... I just finsihed watching the back end of alien 3 - couldn't believe I hadn't seenit - an from 12 years ago ... That was after finishing my 1 of 2 1500 word assignments. Had a Bo USA / South park brain dump chuckle prior to Alien 3. Did anyone catch the buzzcocks last night ? I've never seen Bill Bailey so disgusted / lost for words due to a rock chick. LOL :-}

I achieved what I wanted to do today, which was check-out my local WalMart and see what Wii games they had hidden behind the big-friggen cardboard ad they placed in their previously GameCube section, appears they got plenty of Red Steel & Zelda:TP copies in...

Now the challenge will be getting up in time to be there for the store opening @ 8AM on Sunday. >.>

Haha, I was just going to post and say I haven't done a damn (productive) thing yet today. Of course, I work third shift throughout the week and I'm only halfway into my "friday."

No more looking at Wii news/reviews etc. Time for me to get to work.

Yeah I worked 16 hours and went to be at 3am. I got a really good start on Holiday Bonus and found a workaround for a BMax DirectX issue so that my framework now auto-switches to OpenGL if there is a problem with DirectX.

I don't suppose you want to share that workaround by any chance? :)

My wife got a new Toshiba laptop last Friday, it has a nice rsi reducing mouse pad affair that has a roling rubber bar which moves the cursor around - connects via the usb port. It's got more ports than you could shake a stick at!

And while it's the Wii's doing, I just can't bring myself to blame the little guy. It's not his fault that he's so endearing.

Attempt a merge of Grey's latest framework, a bit of VB.net, a slice of C, a little GT4 (yep, my limited gaming time ensures a fairly lengthy lifespan for any games that grab me - I used to like strategy / RPG's but they eat too much time)

Have been ill last couple of days though so beer is out of the question - dodgy chinese meal on Tuesday I reckon from Grantham. I need to loose a bit of weight anyway LOL ;-}

@Qube - how is your IDE coming along ? I use the CE IDE at the mo, the TO DO and BUG options in the right hand pane are useful....

Well, I'd like to get last fridays plans done today but, meh, it's not going to happen. I've realized that it'll be much easier to do all of my account handling and such w/ scripts stored in a database - now I've just got to get Lua integrated into my codebase. Of course, I've got to get up to speed on Lua as well, so I'll probably spend most of the day reading & experimenting.

To finalise the font, logo, and buttons for Holiday Bonus.
