Fast Track To The Bigtime

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Fast Track To The Bigtime

If you're interested in having your game(s) distributed by TryMedia (www.TryGames.com), it just so happens my agent has got targets to reach (since Macrovision took over) and will be more receptive to submissions than usual. Contact Luca Sartori at lucapiu@... and quote "MDickie" to get your foot through the door...

The site is up there with Download.com when it comes to reaching tens of thousands of people no questions asked, so it should be a welcome addition to any online marketing campaign. It's mainstream territory too, so this is a rare opportunity to squeeze through the demanding selection process and hang with the big boys!

Take it or leave it, and good luck...

Thanks for the lead.

Haha! Haven't got anything ready but thanks anyway.

I want to be a big boy in the bigtime :(

will be using this, thanks!

You'd better polish your game til you can see your face in it, then find a good distributor for it. If your game is good, they'll take it. The general public aren't dumb and they won't buy crap. Getting people to see your product is one thing - getting people to part with cash for it, is quite something else.

If a company admits to lowering its standards to accept submissions (for whatever reason), that's a huge warning sign, imho.

Not having a go. I'm just saying.

I was being sarcastic due to MDickie's often condescending tone.

ha, well I heard that Trymedia normally take ages to respond, and as 3 other portals/distributers have already accepted my games I am hopeful about Try Media and their large network.

"MDICKIE"!!!

I wonder if he saw the two previous threads I did about him?

Woof, woof.

No doubt he is a fan of mine.

thanks MDickie,
appreciated

I don't think his total of 13 posts here warrant such negative sarcasm. If you begrudge others for their endeavours in promotional advertising campaigns etc. perhaps you should get to the point.

I like "MDickie" - well, not as much as sweeties.

Were you always this crazy, puki? I thought I remembered you differently.

* edit *
I guess I misunderstood the tone of the message and read something into it that wasn't really there, let's forget it.

eh?
