Which Wii games are you getting...

...at launch, and why?

I don't think I can afford more than 2 right off the bat. I'm thinking Zelda (of course!) and perhaps Banana Blitz or Trauma Center (both games that, along with Wii Sports, I could see my g/f playing.)

I bought Zelda. That and Wii sports were the only launch titles I was interested in. I also bought stock in Nintendo. It's at $26 right now. It's been going up steadily for the past year. It was like $15 at the start of 2006.

definately zelda and maybe some other fungames for me and the missus to play.
Main reason im actually getting it, for HER ;)

Has anyone tried out a demo unit at a Gamestop yet? Our local store didn't have them as of Saturday, but I haven't gotten back that way yet.

I've pre-ordered Zelda, Monkey Ball, Red Steel and Wii Play. Depending on whether I can get hold of a US Wii as well I might pick up ExciteTrucks. Bring it on!

Wii sports is all im interested in, maybe monkey ball as well.

Wii + Zelda is ordered, although the delivery date was pushed back to 15. december :(

If Wii then i guess only Wii sports. I don't have seen any other games that looked interesting so far.

Twilight Princes & Red Steel, will eventually get MonkeyBall/Rayman for the multiplayer minigame mayhem, but I don't have enough saved up (currently at $480 CDN from my part-time shifts) for 2 extra controllers w/ nunchuks (which cost roughly the same as a game each) with what I'm getting, along with other accessories.
(like a good sized SD card for the memory slot)

I've got Mario and Zelda on pre-order, can't wait.

Bit off topic, but I found this image lying around on the net that compares console system sizes with each other, and all I can say is, daaaaamn the Wii is one tiny system.

To think I been waiting just over 2 years for this thing and it's coming out (well, for North American anyway) in 10 days.

Well, I have some games on preorder now, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Tony Hawk, and Red Steel. I'm anxiously waiting for Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl next year, as you may guess.
