I need to convert my Blitz2D game Pharaohs Curse to BlitzMax and I need your help.

I am willing to give you 60% 'affiliate' royalty on both PC and Mac version.

if you do not like the above offer then please let me know how much do you want for doing it?
Please note I am on a low budget here!

Thanks in advance

Hmm, are you looking to just get the code to work, or do you want to refactor the code to be say object-oriented or to take advantage of some particular BMax features?

Also, how many lines of code are you talking?

Just get the code to work!
It is around 4400 lines of code

I'm curious why you want to do this. If the game is already working in Blitz+, you are only going to make the system requirements go up by porting it to Max. Unless the game is using a ton of sprites (and the end user has a decent 3D card) you'll have worse frame-rates as well.

Of course, if you do have a ton of sprites, and you don't mind requiring your users to have a 3D accelerated card, there could be noticeable improvements.

I might be able to help you out but I don't know if I'd have time to port the whole thing.

I'm curious why you want to do this.

Maybe for x-platform?

Ah. I 'spose that makes sense. I forgot that B+ wasn't multi-platform.

Yeah... I thought that's obvious :)

I'm interested in doing this - I did the Platypus Mac port for Mike Boeh/Idigicon and a few minor ports along the way, so I've been through it all before. If you like, drop me a line at michael@... and we can discuss terms - I'm sure we can work something out that doesn't involve cash up front, if that's what you would prefer.

If my framework was fully tested on Macs, I'd had considered this but no doubt Michael is the man, his games rock.

For the PC version are you planning to make use of the extra graphics capability of BMax (for max bling) or is it a straight port (in which case, what is the point?)
