Screenshots of Mac OS X Desktop

Hi,

I've posted a thread in BlitzMax Programming concerning the capture of Desktop screenshots in BlitzMax, and a win32 example was give, but does anybody know how to programatically take a screenshot in OS X, perhaps by interfacing the Grab service?

If you put the keyboard shortcut for grab into the event queue does that keep it within max only or does the o/s see the keystrokes?
