Wii lineup for Europe...
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Wii lineup for Europe... The site is not showing here. How much are the games? In the US most new titles for the 360 and PS3 were going to start out at $60, while the Wii games were supposed to be $50.
The prices on that site are the equivalent to between 60 and 75 US dollars. Not terribly cheap.
Not very many games either. I thought they were babbling on about fifty games for the launch. Fairly standard launch line up, a couple of quirky games that won't appeal to all that many people, one big platform-specific title and a bunch of annual sports titles and movie tie-ins that the existing platforms already have.
Guess I won't be buying another console any time soon.

I dunno where i read it but i remember that another plus of the Wii should have been the lower development costs and so lower prices for the customers. If i remember right they wanted to offer games cheaper as they are offered for the other consoles like ps3 and xbox360. These prices are pretty expensive if they are right.

Cheaper for Nintendo, or cheaper for their customers? I meant the second but it obviously also includes the first one. If it's only the first one then it's lame...
Wow, one of the games we're getting is Madden! That always sells at least a hundred copies outside of the USA.

In the US that is cheaper for the customers, with the games being $50 at release instead of the average $60 for the other consoles.

Well, Soccer sells about a hundred copies here too. Me, I'd rather go out and play either rather then play it on a game machine - with the exception of the old X/O sports games in the arcades way back.
