rockout ship movement with keyboard or joypad

Hi !

Need smooth movement for my ship into my game with keyboard and joypad. I've already use the smooth ship example code from rockout.

Is this possible to adapt the rockout example code to have the same mouse smooth ship movement with keyboard or Joypad ? Thanks for your help and ideas !!!

no answer... maybe i've asked a stupid question ;-(

I would look at some sort of analog routine by tracking the length of time a key is held down and use that to add to the X/Y coords to be moved to by the player.
