Online game programming courses

I'm about to graduate from UAT's online game design program.
I learned a lot... but I can't really say it will end up being all that worth it... unless I wanted to be a level designer for some 3rd rate AAA game company...
however, the knowledge they provide and the people you meet are invaluable...
Like some game of the year designers... who made game of the year back when it was a personal accomplishment.

I ran in to this site before and what they offer looks good compared to others I've found.
If you can't get in to a college that specialises in GameDev then this is the next best thing.

Well, what surprised me was it was hardly over-expensive - especially for UK people paying in Dollars - I just worry you'll have to comply with US time-zones for some of the stuff (live lectures, etc).
ya- $400 isnt much, exspecialy with what you get to. And it seems well prepared as well. It doesnt look like a quick class/take your money and leave.
I think it's about $3500 to do the whole course (all modules). That works out to between £1750 to £1900.

Still a nice price. And look at what it gives you. Plus no teacher hanging over you. Wrong!! You Fail!! No money back!! With somethings, I rather do it online and learn that way.
Oh hey.. I didn't take a good look at it. Yeah, that is really cheap. UAT is a legit school...

I did a gameinstitute course a couple of years ago... cant remember the name of it.. Game Mathematics or something. I found it pretty good. Of course.. roll forward to the present day and can I remember any of it ?.. noooo

but I turned it down due to not having £2000 to spend.
Three months pass and I get a letter saying they were giving me a grant.
One more month passes, the start of the course comes up...
There's a bunch of pupils outside an empty building. They'd done a runner! It was in the news that year :)

Puki as I understand you've bought a whole ton of games programming books already, why not just work through those? :)
