Revver video files

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Revver video files

I have the extension for Firefox, videodownloader which does a great job at letting me download YouTube videos but even though it is meant to support Revver files too I keep getting a not a valid url message :(

Has anyone here had any success in downloading Revver files? The one I`m after is sadly only on the Revver site.

Oh and the video is also on someones individual website and not the Revver (just uses the player) one so I cannot simply use the grab video option either.

Jason.

I've never heard of these 'Revvers' - I'm off to investigate - see if I can steal anything there.

Mmm, what is this 'Revver' site? I didn't spot anything obvious other than evidence that something exists - somewhere.

EDIT:
Doesn't matter - I need to remove the cheeky little 's' on the end.

Off you go little feller - join your buddies.

Now, what's going on here then?

I chose this video:

Even a 4-legged badger with an eye-patch can download it.

Exactly, what is your major malfunction?

Here is the link - for any disbelievers:

LOL!

What, is he insane?:

Well, that's a bit of a challenge isn't - what chuffing site is it on? Mmm, I wonder which one, maybe it is on the Smartie-shaped site, or maybe on the amphibious landing-craft site, or maybe the "Mickey Mouse" site?

For the love of Large - what the hell is going on here - are your parents home? I'm going to phone them.

OK here`s the link. How can I download this file smartie pants, pun intended :)

I`ll be very impressed if you manage it and tell me how of course ;)

Jason.

I'll take a look now.

Thanks, much appreciated. Hopefully you can find a way to download it or offer another suggestion as to how I could grab it.

Jason.

A couple of years ago, I would use a swf grabber to download all .swf files on a webpage. That could be an option.

However, I prefer the more challenging route.

I'm suspicious that the video is coming in through that site from cdn.digitalcity.com

I'm investigating further.

As a point of interest the site you are looking at has a lot of movies:

EDIT:
It is possible that the one you want is hidden in there.

Nope, the media is coming from the Revver site - the video is on their site - it's ID is 77755.

This looks interesting:

Arm raised aloft - "puki" waves to the millions of guests that visit this site every day.

Actually, just to make it absolutely clear, this is the download link:

Thanks Puki, you`ve made my day :) Thanks for going to the trouble of providing this link for me.

Cheers,
Jason.
