A quick heads up on the latest project from Indiepath that is due for beta release on Monday...

#############################

Founded by Indiepath Ltd in August 2006, xxxx.com is community oriented website where people come to play and share video games. xxxx embraces the latest and greatest web technologies, enabling the diversity and scale of web game content never before seen. xxxx is the game site players dream of, for developers it's the launch platform they have always deserved.

What is xxxx?

xxxx is a video game website where the community controls the content by uploading, sharing, reviewing and playing the games. Video game developers are encouraged to upload and share their latest creations and have xxxx members give them creative and constructive feedback, and perhaps even purchase a copy or two. Where else can a developer try out new ideas, showcase their latest creation and get feedback within minutes of release. Virtually any game uploaded to xxxx.com be delivered as a web browser embedded game.

xxxx is for everyone, people can :

1. - Play the latest video games for free
2. - Find people with similar gaming interests
3. - Compete in challenges and score leagues
4. - Upload and share games worldwide for free
5. - Embed games on their own websites
6. - Create sub-communities or Gaming Groups of people who play the same games
7. - Earn loyalty points for playing games, rating games and providing constructive feedback.

For the developer you get :-

- igloader
- Advertising
- Hosting
- Communitiy networking
- Transactional API for microtransactions on premium titles
- Ability to add the webgame on your own site - and any other.

In addition :-

We want to help you sell more of your own games. In exchange for a small affiliate fee we will place direct download, website and purchase links on your game page - we'll even track the activity and produce reports for you to download and analyse.

Every penny of revenue earned from the affiliate program is credited straight back into your advertising account. You can use your advertising credit to purchase further ad-impressions.

We want you to decide what affiliate fees you pay to us, expermiment with economies of scale - it's your choice.

What's the deal?

We need content! More details for follow on Monday.

Now THAT'S the way to give to the community. Good stuff man. I can't wait to see it in action.

cool. You wanna put my games on there?

@Mark, Got your email - I'll send you one back.
@Jake, you can do it yourself :) (I'll email you the url)

woah, good stuff!

Good stuff - could be a good source of media for my growing collection.

just though of a cool idea: Google media search - the biggest online repository of free/licencsed game media.

whats the real name of teh website?

Sweet... nice work!

I'll release the URL on Monday but those of you that know of a particular website that I sold recently will get directed to this new one - just bear with the site though as it's not at alpha release yet and there are still a few "little" teething issues (mainly with IE).

Win only?

Yes Win only at this time - not a single OSX programmer has managed to step up to the mark yet (dangles carrot).

Anyway, beer to drink and relaxing to do... Until Monday...

{EDIT} Btw, when groups are implemented I look forward to seeing what Blitz Creations are posted.

Indiepath i think this is what the blitz community is missing, great work.

And for those wanting the URL, Heres a little tip google 'Indiepath' and im sure you will find your way there :) i did.

Scruubed - posted in top post

I like the colours of the top navigation.

I like the colours.

Now there lies a problem, should I americanise(ize) the spellings or change the "s" for a "z"? or make "Colour" "Color"?

Personally i favor BE over AE but the question is who is your main audience and if you wanna adapt to the mainstream.

I really like the look of the site. I see exciting times ahead :)

And with the colours i meant only the top navigation including the logo... :O)

The blue borders don't fit so well in my opinion.

I guess the site (notice my americanism) is aimed at the North American population since they are the main stay of the business - I could detect geom (another digg) by IP and adjust the language but that sounds like work.

The grey text (comments) is also too hard to read and of course i would align the different parts login area-presentation area at a horizontal line if possible.

@taumel, Thanks for the feedback - can we do this offline since I don't have time to come here very often (I think you still have my email) - we can work out some deal in return.
